Diamond Design is honoured to be a successful Newfoundland-based business, and an active member of the St. John’s area community. A long-term supporter of cultural groups such as the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, we’re proud to have supported over 50 local charities and fund raising events this past year.

The Purer a Diamond, the More Brilliant. The number, the size, and the visibility of a diamond’s inclusions contribute to its grade on the clarity scale. Diamonds with very, very small inclusions are graded as VVS1 or VVS2. Inclusions that can be seen with the naked eye are graded I1 or I3. Only the rarest of diamonds achieve the highest quality of clarity and have no inclusions at all. Flawless (FL) or Internally Flawless (IF) diamonds represent fewer than one percent of all diamonds.
